Question Why do you sell only Golden, Pride, and AmeriGlide brand lift chairs? Answer Pride and Golden are the most popular lift chair manufacturers in the world; AmeriGlide is a newer manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality mobility products in other market sectors. AmeriGlide's lift chair prices are consistently the lowest in the industry - yet their manufacturing standards meet all of our expectations. By working exclusively with these manufacturers, we can provide our customers the highest quality product, great styling, performance, value, and service. When you purchase a lift chair from us you get our one-year in-home service contract at no extra charge. By offering only select lift chair brands we can assure our customers the level of service and support they desire and deserve. Question Are there any hidden charges? Answer NO! The pricing for lift chairs you see on our site is all you will pay. Each lift chair includes a 1 year in-home warranty (includes both parts and labor) and free Nationwide shipping to the contiguous United States. Question When will my lift chair arrive? Answer All of our lift chairs are shipped directly from the manufacturer. If you choose a lift chair that is in stock, it will arrive at your home in 3 to 6 business days. If your selection is not in stock it will be built for you. Present manufacturing times are 7 to 15 business days. Shipping will take an additional 2 to 7 business days. Question What happens if I need warranty service? Answer Your lift chair will come with a full manufacturer warranty plus a one year in-home service contract paid for by us. Both parts and labor are covered for the first full year you have your lift chair. If you need service you simply call the 800 number supplied with your lift chair. A service representative will be scheduled to come repair your lift chair. Question What is included in the "Inside Delivery and Setup" and "White Glove In-Home Setup" services? Answer If you order these services, your lift chair will be shipped directly to the installation company. They will arrange a delivery time with you (7-12 days out) and bring the chair at the appointed time. They will deliver the chair anywhere in your home, including up or down one flight of stairs. They will install the two 9-volt batteries for the backup (but you must provide them) and take away the box and packaging. Please note that removal of an old chair is NOT included. Question What happens when the unit is shipped to a senior retirement center? Answer If you do not order Pride's "Inside Delivery and Setup" or Golden's "White Glove In-Home Setup", then the chair is shipped to the center's loading dock and you will need to arrange with maintenance or a family member to bring the chair to the room. If you do order one of the above services, an installer will take delivery of the lift chair and arrange a time to bring the chair to the room, install it, and remove the boxing.
